Flapplauseのアレンジメントは「サステイナブルフラワー」と言われているプリザーブドフラワーで作られています。枯れることなく数年にわたって楽しむことのできる「環境に配慮した持続可能なお花」です。Flapplauseで使用しているプリザーブドフラワーのほとんどが、国内メーカーで加工された花やグリーンを使用しています。その国内メーカーでは、製造の過程で出た排水は、自社で開発した排水処理施設で工場排水の処理を行い、浄化してから排水しています。また、生花の不良品も捨てることなく堆肥化し、マルチング材・土壌改良材として活用されています。こうして加工されたお花は数年にわたって楽しむことができ、環境への負担を削減することができると考えています。
また、Flapplauseは収益の一部を、紛争や災害、貧困に直面した子どもたちを支援するための活動費として国際援助団体セーブ・ザ・チルドレンに寄付しています。

Flapplause’s arrangements are made with preserved flowers, which are known as “sustainable flowers”. Most of the preserved flowers used at Flapplause are made from flowers and greens that have been processed by Japanese manufacturers. At those domestic manufacturers, wastewater from the manufacturing process is treated and purified at their own wastewater treatment facilities before being discharged. Also, defective fresh flowers are composted instead of being thrown away and used as mulching and soil improvement materials. We believe that flowers processed in this way can be enjoyed for several years and reduce the burden on the environment.
